Just a reflection on what's going on in the world these days... Driving through California, you hear a lot of Van Halen on radio, so I tipped a wink to them with the background vocals. The rest feels a bit more British in its influences. It took a while to get the structure right, with an extra section of vocals (rant section) dropped in after the original recording, then and extra verse dropped in at the last minute to balance the song out.
